:tantrum: Enough with the red shorts talk already!?
Okay I confess, this is infinitely better than the image posted on May 1st that looks like it was made from an old dishcloth.
But this one...
... I'm not sure which one I prefer anymore.
I think LvG's remit will be to challenge for a CL place next season, but if he doesn't achieve it I don't believe the Board will pull a 'Moyes' on him.
Man Utd (in financial terms) can afford to go without CL football for maybe up to three seasons before they start still feel the strain.
If we were to sign Suarez then either He, Messi or the formation will have to change.
Surely if you are going to go to those lengths to sign a player, he should fit right in with minimal disruption?
:hi: Lucho  Bring the beautiful football back and the success will follow.
:beer2: Here's to a new chapter and hopefully an exciting new adventure.
:flagvl8: Visca el Barça i Visca Catalunya! :flagvl8:
 I'm referring to signing new players. Not how long they spend with the club.
Doesn't really mean anything yet. I suppose it will be up to Luis Enrique, what to do with him.
I don't mean a Marquee every season. Maybe one every 3 seasons.
But I agree, we shouldn't be spending extortionate amounts on a player with maybe 3 seasons left at elite level.
It's excessive to say we shouldn't sign any over 26 unless they are freebies. Only in exceptional circumstances will you find a player in his prime on a Bosman, and anyone other than that wouldn't make the grade anyway.
The quality is out there with good scouting, but remarkably we don't have...
Breaking News!
Ryan Giggs has announced his retirement as a player and will become Assistant Manager at Manchester United next season under Louis van Gaal.

It's not so much the star players we were/are buying that's the problem. It's more our buying policy and how we implement them in to the team.
Once again, comes down to poor management, planning, perception, foresight etc.
