I thought Inzaghi was playing left wing for us yesterday. Seriously how can you be offside so much?!!

    Andrés Iniesta

Andres improved again yesterday, he was everywhere and he seems to be refinding his knack of gliding past tackles once more. Very pleasing to see.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

He was chopped down all game again but he still showed some magic touches. Agree Adam he's missing chances he would have scored 10/10 times last season. Either Pep needs to work on it in training or maybe it's a confidence thing.

    Still too good for Liverpool

    Sergio Agüero

I criticised Anelka a lot for his selfish style last season and the fact he didn't actually add that much past a few tap ins (his final total was terrible for a PL top scorer). This seasonI've been really impressed with him though, still scoring but he moves about, looks to play in others...

    9 - Samuel Eto'o

Great respect to a club legend.

    Champions league 09-10

Holy shit you're completely right, I totally forgot to alter Real's GD  my mistake. 3-0 would certainly do it then, although it is an unlikely scoreline, it's still interesting to know what could happen.

    Champions league 09-10

The journalists are correct. 3-0 wouldn't be enough for Marseille. Assuming Milan beat Zurich they would be on 11 points. A win for Marseille would level them on 10 points with Real. Two 3-0 results would mean head-to-head they are even. It then goes to goal difference and goals scored (think...

    Champions league 09-10

Agree the idea is ok, but the badge is so blunt it's ridiculous. If it was something more subtle such as the stars for European Cups it would be fine. Lol United's shirt looks like a rugby league jersey, it's awful:

    Champions league 09-10

Yeh agree, it'd nasty and tacky. United's shirts this season are disgusting anyway, but that extra badge is crap.

    Champions league 09-10

Milan were very lucky to draw tbh. Played really well for the first part of both halfs, particularly the first, but they fell away both times and Marseille had some brilliant chances. You'd still expect Milan to beat Zurich but the defence is soo dodgy and the midfield just do not press the ball!

    Champions league 09-10

Sounds like a good game I missed, I'll check the highlights later. Too many groups have been decided tonight, not sure which game to watch tbh. Maybe the Milan match perhaps.

Krasic definitely impresses me whenever I see him, I like him. Dzagoev is younger and a massive talent though, he's going to be awesome.

    Rangers FC thread

:beer2: given a group they should have been capable of getting 2nd place in, but their anti-football style and scummy fans just weren't enough to get them through.

    Jonathan Dos Santos

He was absolutely tremendous last night

    Daniel Alves

He played well last night, was impressed. He also seems to have toned down the playacting too. He got some rough treatment last night and didn't make too much of it. Pep must have had a word after his early season antics.

    Andrés Iniesta

Agree Adam, he was good and it was arguably his best performance so far this season, but that would have been an average performance for him last season given what he is capable of. However it does suggest he's finding form again which is a major positive.
  19. Cal-FCB

    Bojan Krkić

Pep should give him a few more chances to start over the next few weeks. 10 minutes at the end of games isn't going to do much for him. We should see how he does in the middle, he won't hold the ball up like Ibra but his movement is excellent and so it'd be interesting to see if it worked ok.

    Pedro Rodriguez

You could always see he had excellent quick feet, and he's becoming more effective with that all the time. He's definitely got his shooting boots on this season. He's not the natural finisher Bojan is in front of goal but he's showing he can score goals. Certainly looks capable of providing...
