    David Silva

I heard he was excellent tonight, ran the show. Very pleased for him.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

I thought he had a good game tonight, certainly his best Barca match by far. Got challenges in all the way through and his passing was accurate. Definitely starting to settle in to Barca now.

    Jack Wilshere

He was superb again tonight. I watched the Arsenal game pretty much to see Wilshere and it was certainly worth it. It's a telling statement of the quality Capello's management of England that Wilshere sat on the bench the whole game against Montenegro but then goes and plays brilliantly for...

    David Silva

Superb goal from him yesterday, I was really pleased for the lad. I had worries he won't suit English football, but goals like that suggest otherwise.

    Andrés Iniesta

He was absolutely sensational last night. Best performance of the season by him, great to watch. Really calm finish for the goal as well, which was created by his run at the back line.

    Aritz Aduriz

Awesome header yesterday, really good business from Valencia. Him and Soldado could become a really potent partnership if they're given more minutes together.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

We'll be seeing more and more of him soon, especially with the CL games. I agree he may well be a sensible choice at San Mames, he'd certainly be an asset over there.

    Gabriel Milito

Great to see Gabi back in the side, what a performance from him. Milito alongside Pique works just as well as Puyol/Pique, perfect combination of styles. There's no drop in quality when he comes in.

    Bojan Krkić

Well said Galning. People are so quick to hate on him. As others have mentioned, all he needs is a goal and he'll be flying. The same as any striker, confidence is a huge thing. Personally I don't think he played that badly last night, he clearly had the run on the LB pace wise, looked lively...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

Lol I'm the same, I've been committing dirty fouls for years Nolan. Standard procedure if a player has wound you up you make sure you go through him whilst you look to get the ball, or catch him on the follow through. It's different at this level though.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

What so you're saying he wouldn't have felt that he'd just stamped right on his ankle? Anyone who's played football knows when you've caught someone fully and he'd have known then. As I said before we see it in every game a player runs over to the player he's just fouled to show fake concern in...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

Busquets is far from a dangerous player. He's dirty but he doesn't commit those kinds of challenges. Masch is filthy and it's a matter of time before he goes flying in and hurts his next victim. I'm not asking for a bigger punishment. I'm just condemning the challenge Nolan.

Yeh they're not even in the same league. Goikoetxea makes Ujfalusi look like Gary Lineker.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

True but he still went in using a stamping motion. He could have quite easily gone in less dangerously than he did. He knew what he was doing, whether he got the ball or not he was definitely going to clatter him. If it was so accidental where was the remorse after? He didn't go and apologise...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

Have to agree there. People love to add to the 'Bojan will never make it' argument whenever he does anything wrong.
  16. Cal-FCB

    Xavi Hernández

Holy shit really? That's awesome. I'm guessing we dominate the top 20 of that list
  17. Cal-FCB

    Daniel Alves

Probably the worst game he's played since his horrible period early last season. Literally every touch, pass, cross, shot went wrong. But what a goal at the end, hopefully that will cheer him up. Expect he'll be back to his normal self at the weekend.
  18. Cal-FCB

    Gabriel Milito

What a first touch :D looked very solid in his short time, undoubtedly should have played instead of Abi last Saturday.
  19. Cal-FCB

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

Very poor pen by his standards. His passing was also really bad most of tonight. Whatever though, 2 great goals and 2 awesome assists, can't wait to see him rip Atleti apart.

    Sergio Busquets

Tremendous tonight, mopped up everything, kept the ball, sprayed it around as well. Really top performance.
