I agree, he's certainly an ass and he will do anything he can to gain an advantage, but that breeds competition and his rivals raise their game. He's ultimately a positive force for whatever club and league he is in, in that sense. Saying that, I strongly dislike the man.

The way I interpret what she's said is that because Messi isn't scoring the same amount of goals and achieving the same overall success with Argentina as he does with Barcelona, he doesn't put in the same amount of effort or "heart". Makes sense...
