If this is true, I'm not convinced he's even good enough for Barca...

    Jack Wilshere

Arsene Wenger claims that highly-rated 18-year-old midfielder Jack Wilshere will soon sign a new contract at Arsenal which could treble his £15,000-a-week wages. Wilshere has emerged as one of England's most promising young stars in an impressive first three months of the Premier League season...

    Best Young Goalkeeper

I'm going to go for Joe Hart, he has everything in his locker to be the best goalkeeper in the world. Fantastic player. I've seen more of him than the other players but I do like the look of De Gae. Lloris, I'm not sure about. I think he's got a mistake in him from what I've seen.

Barcelona. I hate Mourinho and anyone he manages. Plus I like Barca, was a little pissed at the whole Cesc saga but they play football the way it should be played and are a great club. Always had a soft spot for them.

    Ibrahim Afellay

Great goal. He'd be a good player for Barcelona but I still expect them to go for Fabregas in the summer.

How's he doing for Hercules? I really thought he'd do well at Madrid but it never happened. Shame as he clearly has ability.

The Month Ahead - Next 8 matches

Barca will be okay though. Looking at those game leading up to el classico, they all look winnable. Sevilla and Villarreal won't be easy but I still think Barca will comfortably take 6 points from both fixtures. I'm looking forward to el classico although I suspect Jose will try and ruin the...

The Month Ahead - Next 8 matches

Yeah for some reason I was under the impression it was a lot longer but it's only 4 and a half. I just mean flights to Greece and Denmark are nice, quick flights. Plus an away game to somewhere like Russia where they play on an artificial pitch is difficult and tiring if you're not used to it...

The Month Ahead - Next 8 matches

The CL trips aren't too bad because they're not long journeys really. Better than a flight to Moscow/Ukraine.

Maybe Afellay is being signed as a replacement for Honda?

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Ferriera has always been an average player, no where near worth the money paid for him. Tiago was sold for a €5m loss and never fulfilled his potential which is surely bad management. Note that when Chelsea had no money to spend, Jose was sacked that season after bringing in Steve Sidwell as...

    Real Madrid (old thread)

I'm pretty sure it's obvious what exactly my point is. He waste's a lot of money and is a 'checkbook' manager. I'd love to see him at Arsenal (well a few years ago) or Liverpool where there's no money to spend. How would the 'special one' cope? And Wilshere, all those signings are great finds...

    Jack Wilshere

Yeah he was shit before Vidic, that's why his total transfer fee is nearly £50m. I wonder what Leeds and Manchester United saw in him? At Terry's peak he was a very good player occasionally caught out by pace but at Rio's peak he was the main defender for a team that won the PL and CL and was...

    Jack Wilshere

Don't slag off John Terry when carefree's around or he'll have a massive hissy fit

Are you going to start that debate again? Take your blue tinted glasses off. The majority of people realise that Rio's superior.
