Laporta is no angel in all of this. He was happy to take the cash injection. He's only shifting blame away and making excuses saying it's up to the members.

Regardless, the Super League will eventually happen. The Champions League was the first step and people got on board with it. The Super League will happen.... we just don't know when. Wouldn't surprise me if UEFA eventually do it later down the line.

I doubt it. I feel he's using the members as an excuse to shift the blame from himself. He saw the Super League as a big cash injection, so he happily signed on for it. Now, he's saying it's up to the members. Regardless, this just doesn't take away that UEFA and FIFA are still corrupt...

Why does Laporta need the members to decide anything? Why doesn't he pull Barcelona out himself? It seems he's in favour of the Super League, but he wants to let the members make the decision.
