We're setting ourselves up for failure if we get Laporta. He got really lucky last time. He basically inherited a great youth system and squad with great potential. Besides, it's a totally different time from what it was back then. There's FFP, we have no money, the transfer market is different...

PSG cannot afford to sign him without breaking the FFP rules. Unless they sell Mbappe or Neymar, which is very unlikely to happen. No other teams can afford them. If anything, PSG most likely has to sell in the summer just to cover what they lost last year.... which is a lot.

Mbappe won't be leaving in the summer. PSG would rather lose him on a free than sell him in the summer, especially to Madrid. Besides, I don't think any team can afford to buy Mbappe in the summer due to COVID. I think Mbappe and Neymar are close to signing new contracts in either case.
