As much as Rakitic annoyed me, he was very good his first couple of years so don't continue to bash him with a new manager with different ideas. Bad players have became good with new managers so don't rule out average Rakitic becoming quite decent.
Missed the first half and just heard Barcelona were struggling to create anything. Thought it'd maybe change in second half that I watched but it was legit so depressing. What the f*ck did I watch?
Because Barça rarely press anymore? They did yesterday with determination. Might have been mainly Messi that won us the match but the pressing and playing properly for 67 minutes is a start.
Barça has scored 7 goals in last 4 games, with only 1 of those goals coming from open play, scored by frikin Busquets! It's sad to see our club struggling to score from open play but even more sad that the right step forward isn't being taken and Valverde is still the manager. Depressing.
I'd rather get put of the group stage and Valverde getting fired than getting to Semi Final with major luck then getting humped away from home and Valverde being given another season. It's a joke.
We won from a corner and a freak long shot at home. Barcelona are struggling to create real good chances even at Nou Camp. If he isn't fired in the next week or so I'm baffled.
His first goal for Barça vs Tottenham was also a belter outside the box, is very good at shooting far distance. A decent manager would tell him to shoot every so often but he rarely does surprisingly.
Ansu Fati is so talented but even he looks confused sometimes that there is barely any real attacking movement most of the time from our players. He knows the tactics are dead and that all he can do most the time is either try dribble on the wing or pass it back. There is legit no real movement...

Yayyy another loss. 1 step closer to firing Valverde and getting a real manager that is capable. Hopefully he gets fired after this game, if not then 1 more quick loss will do it. *crosses fingers we lose against Villarreal*
