Exactly, their cup run is the equivalent to a domestic cup, Champions League is only more prestigious because they have the "champions of Europe" tag that goes along with it and everyone watches it. Atletico winning it would at least carry some weight because they beat the best teams in Europe...

Real Madrid are such a scummy club when it comes to congratulating us, especially when we do it for them, the rivalry has to be put aside sometimes. Will be really disappointed if Atletico don't win the CL, they deserve it and we'll congratulate them as they do for us no doubt.
