Exactly, that's why we were on the phone with Tek the same evening Stegen got injured :lol: I think Tek will play already against Sevilla and than probably the rest of the matches until Stegen is back. Pena isn't good enough to even be third keeper...

But Raphinha and Yamal have to rest sometime and I only really see Fermin in front of Ansu and Pau for LW/RW when Gavi and Olmo is back. Ansu won't play winger a la Pedro, he'll play more SS when played on LW/RW. Anyway, this is all speculation - let's see how he continues.

I also saw he was sulking, but thought he simply wasn't happy about his performance (which I still think was very good in the first half and alright in the second).

None of us is "ok" with it, but it is what it is. I think he's on 12m gross, nobody will loan him and pay even half at the moment - if he keeps improving little by little we'll see if it's worth keeping him as squad player or if we get a decent offer for a sale or loan that makes sense...

If he keeps this going and improves little by little and even scores some - Of course he makes too much, we all know that - but there's nothing we can do about it now really... and why bother loaning him out, nobody will pay even half of his wage and in that case it's better we keep him and...

I rate Balde, as a rotation/squad player for now. He might not have any more gears - we need an extra solid LB anyway, even if it'll be rotation/backup for Balde. RB position is more than ok for now with Fort as backup...

We can't and shouldn't upgrade all at once. Forte is good enough backup, let's focus on getting an LB - than we can look in too rest of the defense... and like jammy says, with Landry coming through it makes even less sense.
