That depends, is Johnny wearing a Madrid jersey? :VdB:
Nah I'm joking, but yeah, I understand your viewpoint. Some Barca fans don't hate Madrid (or at least not enough to consider this) and that's okay, it doesn't make them less of a Barca fan or anything. Just personally I respectfully...
The strange thing is, if you read the interview with him today, if you didn't know what happened inside the stadium you actually feel bad for him. He makes it sound like he was worried about his friend and he just didn't want to think about a football match while he was fighting for his life...
Yeah, that's what I think too. But you should know better if you're a professional, even if it's just in social media. Let fans taunt each other or whatever, but if you work for a club you have to be somewhat objective when it comes to other clubs or else you get this kind of reaction.
Spurs deleted the tweet and say they had nothing to do with it (guess they're saying they were hacked). I hope they mean that and are not just trying to save face.
Oh I agree, I think it's fucked up that something like that comes from an club's official account. I wouldn't even expect that out of United. I'm talking about regular fans.
It's ok to make a joke or express that you don't like a particular club. Only continuous mocking or personal attacks are disrespectful when we're supposed to be welcoming to fans of all clubs. Either way, it was our fault we got complacent and threw the game away so we kinda deserve to be...
My friend sits in Inter's Curva and knows quite a few of the ultras there, they're not all troublemakers. But when situations such as this come out, it puts a bad light on the entire culture. Especially when just the other day Napoli were up in arms about that Guardian journo who called the city...
Meh, I'm still determined to go to Roma-Lazio some time in my life for the experience.
What I've been able to figure out about that incident is that the shooter is a Roma ultras leader who had already been banned from Italian stadiums for life. He's far right politically so it probably had more...
I don't deny being biased. ;)
I mean, I completely understand why Everton fans feel the way they do, if I was one maybe I would feel that way too. But it sucks balls when it goes against your team, and I won't deny I'm a little hypocritical in that sense.
