Yes and yes. Been a fan of his since he was third choice of Barca B, so glad to see his loyalty finally pay off.

He's shown a real turnaround. Got his head on straight and realizing his actual potential. Good signing in hindsight.

Another reason why the way things are laid out right now is awful. The coefficient points matter so much in the EL, but the incentive for doing well in it is not worth it for the bigger clubs. Right now all it is, is a bunch of extra matches that they just want to get out of the way.

Was the last match today for Zanetti, Cambiasso, Milito and Samuel (though the latter didn't feature). Legends. Kind of upset that they're all gone, now there aren't really any leaders left in the team. I think Ranocchia will be the next captain if he stays and they go by seniority, but I'm not...

Can't really help but "dwell on the past" when it comes to modern football these days, honestly.

That's based on the assumption that Balotelli will stay (and be, well... sane) and El Sha will be able to stay uninjured.

They're both pretty dire. Bbbbbbbilan seem to have shown some improvement on the pitch, but their real issues are behind the scenes.
