Because that game lasted 120mins + penalties. Spain were mentally strong and came out on top from being thrashed in the first half it was exact opposite in later 2nd half and OT. Also, they have conceded only one goal in this tourney compared to il Azzuri :lol: 8 goals in 3 games or something...

How deluded one can be. Spain surely deserved the victory they did changed the rhythm of the game from being attacked in the first 20-25 minutes and 0 shots on goal in the first half iirc to constantly pressuring the parked bus with Azzuri flag on it. Anyways, even if Italia survived the PK...
