This is what we need. We need to spend. How much would madrid shit themselves if this happened.

I reckon these are who we should pick up for our junior teams. They’re some very elegant players... time is ticking. Whats with Eduardo's new 100m fee.

Chill, but at least give us 1 that's an adult

Our transfer spending last three years is 121,4m.

Our net spend is +100,1m.

We've sold for more than we've spent. Meanwhile our rivals have been throwing money around.

We're back at Camp Nou and will have 60k fans by mid-February.

If we cannot have one big transfer market soon then after all that we have some big issues coming up.

We don't need to spend 200 or 300m, but we should be able to sign a CB for 40-60m, sign another one on free transfer and then possibly see if there's a LB and ST worth considering.

Should FC Barcelona return to La Liga's 1:1 rule this summer, then they'll make Julián Álvarez their no. 1 priority in the transfer window. [@DBR8]

FC Barcelona are not surprised that Álex Remiro had such a good game for Real Sociedad last night. The sports area have been following the goalkeeper for a long time. In fact, before signing Joan García, a year ago Deco was interested in him. It was difficult at the time, but next summer he'll have a release clause lower than €10m, so it's not ruled out that he could come and be Joan García's back-up. [@martinezferran]

But where are the CB rumours?

Why should he accept a backup role, if he can easily play at a decent team? Sounds like a nonsense rumor to me. We also don't have any ffp margin to waste on a good keeper backup, if we have more urgent needs for starting positions.

Market value of 100m, contract until 2030, direct rival of Atletico. Yeah, we're not getting him for under 130-150m which makes it even with the 1:1 rule impossible. A transfer on this scale needs stable finances and a completely finished Nou Camp Nou first.

New challenge perhaps. He's been at Sociedad a while now and it would just be more of the same if he continued. Not a lot players get the chance to represent Barca. Of course it would completely kill his NT callups but Joan Garcia might do that to him in coming weeks anyway. Contract is out in 2027 too, so perfect time to try a top club.

If he wants to celebrate a few cups, he can join. He would be even good enough to let him start in the Copa for sure. Depends what he really wants. With already being 30 years old, he needs to make a strategic decision. I would be glad to have a keeper with his skills as a back-up, don't get me wrong, if it doesn't cost us too much ffp for urgent starter positions, because Tek should really retire this summer.

His contract ends in 2027 just like Tek, so that could be perfect timing. Kochen and Jakoob are good, but it is rare that young GK develops as a bench GK. With Joan here, I think there future is elsewhere.

As for why, answer is money. It is always money.

Because it generates more money for the media firm to spread such news.
One should not believe that this contains any truth whatsoever.
