Watching Madrid on fire right now, remembering our last coaches, we really need to appreciate and enjoy Hansi as much as we can. This time will end sooner than we realize and then we'll start to cry about it again like it was with Pep.

Really great sub with Fermin

Not sure if Rapha, Lewy, Pedri and Eric were necessary though

But evidently Flickmeister don't fuck around

It will take some time for fans to trully appreciate Flick. What he's achieving with this squad is amazing.

On another note, it makes me think of just how good the squads were in Pep and Lucho years

VV - above average

MATS - mediocre/below average

Abidal - Amazing, one of the top LB's during those times

Alba - world class

Pique/Puyol/Mascherano - Amazing, historical Barca CB's during their prime

Dani Alves - could make an argument that was the best RB in Europe at that time

Busi/Xavi/Iniesta - no comments needed, best midfield trio to exist

Rakitic - workhorse that freed up so much space for MSN and Iniesta. Much better than FDJ during his peak

MSN - no comment, GOAT level attacking trio

Eto'o/Henry - no comments needed, GOAT level during their peak.

Pedro - Deadly finisher and always worked hard.

Villa - Spanish legend

That's just off the top of my head. Not to mention some great starters/sub options like Fabregas, Keita, Adriano, Maxwell, Thiago, Claudio Bravo, Mathieu, Sergi Roberto.

I mean football overall was at a higher level too. This is why we can work it around with Martin - Cubarsi pairing these days. Hardly any serious strikers in Europe to exploit it, especially at lower teams.
