Truth
2 red cards for Madrid? Expect their TV showing all LaLiga refs in Barca kits, telling Laporta clones them in a secret Camp Nou underground lab.
I don’t recall tuning in for a longer stretch of RM playing than I did in the 2nd half tonight - they really unraveled, what a mess

I’m just in shock that the ref didn’t look the other way, like he did with Vini, Rudiger, Rodrygo & Bellingham. The Fran thing is not new but again amazing the ref didn’t look away but immediately punish the player, rightly but nevertheless shocking for RM…at home

Williot, btw, incredible

Definitely feels like Xmas

But I agree, they exaggerated with Bellingham in particular. Never worth anywhere near what they paid as a midfielder. Wouldn't have touched a player like that personally, low workrate, star attitude, not a midfielder you can count on in terms of dedication.

Had they signed a proper CM instead of Bellingham, they'd be a level above what they are.

Maybe who knows?

But we are also in upswing. Trust Flick. Team will still go up.

CL is different story tho.
Out of all teams in europe only us and city havent gone full throtle, and by that i mean potential to reach with all ingredients in there. I still believe that with flick we are heavy contenders to lift everything, its just a feeling that one quality january cb would make a huge difference in later stages

Let's see how dedicated Dembele is after he thinks he made it big. Jury's out how durable he is at the top.

I was expecting them to go for Joao Neves a couple summers ago when it was clear that he's going to be a top midfielder.

Madrid press outside of RMTV arnt gunning for the ref btw.

The focus is well and truly on Xabi.

I think personally that Perez keeps him and gives him what he wants for Christmas. But the environment is looking incredibly hostile for him, that's for sure.

A bit hard to gun for the ref in these conditions. The double yellow for Garcia is textbook and Carreras was abusing the ref there. Almost begging to be sent off.

But then Madrid TV is purely propaganda program, not like Marca for example. Marca actually hired a ref expert in Iturralde who is Basque, not hardcore Madridista. Very good refereeing consultant btw, I find myself agreeing with Iturralde's take on many refereeing situations.

Rmtv are saying the referee was giving yellows to Madrid players and not to Celta, and allowing them to time waste. And that he was a Negreia referee

So these sons of a guns could literally spew anything for their narrative.

We will see how things are tomorrow but if they wanted to could ruin the ref as others before, but are instead putting it on Xabi. Which is interesting in itself.
