A cage is too good for those fucking baboons.

Have they ever heard the phrase ' An enemy of my enemy is a friend?" Instead of joining Barca fans in exposing the corruption of Real Madrid they think they are hipsters chanting Puta Barca y Puta Catalunya.

Dumb as rocks that lot.

That cage is a necessity and common in many stadiums to stop liquids ( beer and piss ) being rained down on home supporters.

Hopefully they move away fans to the top tier when everything is done.

Zero sympathy from me.

Account based in Africa agitates on SM for cheap klicks. What else is new.

"tHiS wOuLd NeVeR hApPeN iN MeTrOpOLiTaNo". Meanwhile Metropolitano away sector:

It's pretty common, sometimes even necessary for safety reasons to block away fans from potentionally throwing things, if normal fans are seated right under their block. Many stadiums have it, depending on the architecture. That away fans need to be caged, because history showed they can't be trusted to behave like human beings, is their own fault. Also many ultra groups that are banned in their home arenas, are traveling to away games to do shit to get the club fines as a revenge. Barca can't obviously hang a net from the roof, because the Camp Nou doesn't have one yet, so the only solution is a standing barrier, like it was in the old stadium without a roof.

Artificial fuss about nothing again, just a vent to bitch from the usual suspects.

The double perimeter ad space is fine. If you don't like it then book a ticket on the camera side.

As for the cage, it's a Spain thing. Villarreal has them bloody glassed in at the top behind goal.

It's not reserved for Grada d'Animacio, they are no longer welcome by Laporta.

Elena Fort announced in October, that a new supporter group will be formed. Gol 1957.

The reason for that sector being covered is that they are still in the process of selection.
Didn't know that, thanks. Well it's going to be a first to have gender balance in the singing section. Can be okay, can be a disaster depending on the selected people. But "gender balanced" is very vague and can mean anything. She didn't say a mandatory 50-50 balance for example. Let's see I guess, but the longer it takes, the worse it looks for the club.

They're screening applicants based on the criteria set out so it will take time - agree though, it looks odd for the time being

Yet, an empty gol sud is only temporary while the distance from the pitch for the lateral grada is clearly not ideal - let's hope they course correct with this as discussed

Definitely zero empathy

I can still recall ManYoo clowns tossing cups filled with their urine onto spectators, regrettably visiting fans draw nutters too often that requires a clamp down

I say this all the time, I love the family atmosphere at Camp Nou - not unlike seeing La Nati here en Suisse

Also, technically @Windhook is inaccurate, it is not the elimination of the Grada d'animacio rather a revamping of it under the name of Gol 1957

Elena Fort and Laporta sitting behind a desk full of food while young adults come in and sing Un dia de partit, American Idol style.

It's a real shame because they could actually make the best atmosphere in Europe if they wanted. The atmosphere against Atleti was impressive, even moreso when you consider there is no supporters groups.

QSG fans get a lot of praise here but I remember seeing a game where their Ultras boycotted and the whole stadium was deathly silent all game. It would be like that for most stadiums if you banned their ' ultras '.

Barca fans get a lot of bad press, lots of it is warranted ( Eintracht affair ) but there is actually real passion amongst the fanbase and the fans in the Copa final were as good as any in Europe. Thousands line the streets before big games chanting, but then are not allowed in the stadium.

Build a few more rows in the spaces the advertising hoardings have taken up. Bring the stands closer to the pitch all around. Change animation stand to Gol Nord lower tier which houses around 3 - 4 thousand.

Drop this moronic gender balanced shite. Most, not all, women are there to get pictures for Instagram. The noise comes from the men. Make tickets dirt cheap, potentially give them for free if that is what it takes to fill lower Gol Nord. ( This is exactly what QSG does btw. )

There is still time to do this, once the club becomes more financially stable but it's clear it's not the board's priority.

A real pity because if they did all that with 105k in the stadium, it would be electric in there and a real 12th man.
