He can really improve his passing. Puts way too much weight in his through balls.

He's a typical direct player, rough and eager, sometimes lacking elegance of a classic 10.
Yes but he is certainly capable of superb passes sometimes. Remember Brugge, that pass to Rashford that could have got us 2-1 ahead

Dude was MOTM for sure, today he actually surprised me by his passing and vision other than being clinical in front of goal. But he will still disappear in some games if we look back, if he doesn't he'll be Gerrard 2.0 with a better nose for scoring.

Even when he "disappears" he is out there pressing like noone in the team. One needs to measure both on and off the ball part of the game.

Whenever he gets the ball, he tries to attack. Type of player Lucho would love.

Time for a little intermediate result for my bold prediction back when Fermin was injured that he'll finish the season with more G/A than Wirtz:

Fermin: 7 goals / 4 assists
Wirtz: 0 goals / 3 assists

He tends to have these games where nothing really works for him and then you start to wish Olmo would be in only to realize how shit he also is nowadays. At least this time around Fermin managed to be good for few games straight, hopefully that wasn't a fluke.

He is just chaotic. Very inconsistent with his decisions on and off the ball. Nobody knows what he will do including himself, and it can mean he scores, it can also make him a very hard player to play with.

Good player and has some big strengths but I wouldn't start him in these kind of high level games because it can go seriously wrong. He is tactically inconsistent and its hard to rely on him in games where some nuance is needed, sometimes he needs to slow down the game but he can only play on one setting.

The cycle Fermin - Olmo again.
