Griezmann is a better player than neymar overall.... Not in term of peak but in term of regularity, what he brought for his NT and even when we see his overall level year by year.... I reapeat it, Griezmann is a better player than Neymar
I would say from 2018 to now Salah is above Neymar too. Sure Neymar is way greater talent (second to Messi only), but achievement wise Salah blows him out of water.
So you both agreed neither Griezmann nor Salah come close to Neymar

Yet force an argument, because of the obvious hate you have for him

Griezmann argument is absolute joke. He hasn't been better for France than Neymar was for Brazil. And his level year by year is really not all that, he has no league titles and no CL titles. Player of great ability but he doesn't really have any monumental seasons where he was top of the world. Only a thing of standards

Salah clearly has a better argument, having played in PL so long and consistently given great stats and performances. But this is the classic prem supremacy argument, frequently used by ronaldo fans as well, he did it in the PL so he's better. Neymar dominated La Liga and Ligue 1 and had some outstanding performances in CL and against english teams

Okay, now Neymar is getting criminally underrated.

Salah is absolutely not better than Neymar. Mane at his best overshadowed Salah at Liverpool. Salah has one of the best setups in Klopp's Liverpool and used to miss loads of chances. Except physical strength and attacking positioning, Neymar is better at everything else. Salah was never clutch in Europe either.

Griezmann isn't close to Neymar either. Griezmann failed at Barca and never had the peak performances or magic of Neymar.

Even with the disappointing career Neymar had (disappointing only compared to his insane potential; his career is still a distant dream for 99.9% of Soccer pros), he's easily above Salah and Griezmann in terms of legacy.

Neymar is definitely a top 10 Footballer of the modern era/current generation.

Greizmann was instrumental to France from 2016-22. 1 Euro Final and 2 World Cup Finals. He was France best player in 2016 and 2018, also best player in 2022 pre the final. In major tournaments he is better than Neynar. Both played for top nation in that period mind you.

Salah from 2017-2025 clearly beats Neymar in that same period. I'm not premtard but competing in EPL vs Pep's City is 100% harder than playing agaisnt Nante in Ligue 1.

In term of pure football ability Neymar is far ahead but then it doesn't make him having better career. Like Hazard's pure ability is better than Crynaldo but not close to half of his career.

Neymar has better career than both those players

He's won everything those 2 did bar Griezmann's WC. UCL, league title, numerous cups, Copa Libertadores, league 3peat with Santos. More goals and more assists. Significantly better legacy in world football

Griezmann and Neymar both played for top nations but Griezmann played for a much much much better nation and it should be considered. But even if you give him an edge in international football he's won jackshit on club level, no CL no league title and a lot of shit seasons that we don't consider here because the standards are obviously much lower for him than for Neymar

Griezmann is currently at absolutely shit level and before the goal in Madrileno he hasn't scored in ages

Do you hear anyone talking about it? No. But when Neymar has a good game and wins against one of best south american clubs, but has a failed dribble in 90th minute of the game attempting to timewaste he gets mocked for it on social media all day long . And this is okay, because we are speaking of players on different level here and that's why they are held to different standards. But then we need to acknowledge it when we want to compare Griezmann to Neymar

Top scorer and assister of Brazil has no weight? In a tougher confederation too. Griezmann has been a mainstay during a successful France era, part of many titles, but not really the main man apart from 2016.

Neymar always did what he could. Can't remember a big tournament where he let the team down, and if he did, it's much less than times he was carrying the team.

Anyone who thinks Griezmann is better than Neymar and Hazard is clueless.

Don't give a fuck about team trophies. Only care about the individual performances in these conversations. Griezmann won the 2018 WC but Hazard was easily the best player in the competition.

If the biggest argument in favour of a player is a collective achievement or a team trophy then chances are that the player isn't truly elite (like Ryan Giggs).

When I talk about Xavi, I don't say he's great because he won the WC and the CL. I say that he dominated teams, made Prime Barca/Spain tick and controlled the biggest games in his prime.

David Villa won everything. Doesn't mean Totti and Kane aren't clear of him.

Santos are about to get relegated. And Ancelotti doesn't even know who Neymar is.

No need to act like Neymar is at top class level now. He is finished since 2022 WC.

And there is no tournament which Neymar "carried" Brazil either. 2014 maybe but Brazil were top favourite and home advantage. 2018 he was outclassed by Fatzard and 2022 he was a clown for trying to be a last penalty hero.

Brazil won the only tournament that Neymar didn't play.

Don't even try to put Hazard into these conversations. It's embarassing. Like Hazard but he is far below guys like Griezmann and Neymar (apart from dribbling).
