Against the better teams would be Messi and Ferran.

Ferran for example I believe has double the goals/assists against Real in league than Lewa does and can run in behind the better sides that press up in way Lewa cant.

While also scoring in CL semi for Barca and in Spanish Cup Final v Real while Lewa hasnt.

I remember when :valverde2:was here, winning back to back league titles and most fans were moaning about how boring the style of play was.

Some even proclaimed that they would rather we played more exciting football and lost because exciting football is what attracted them to become a Barca fan in the first place.

This week we have enjoyed 12 goals in our 2 games, whilst our main rivals have bored their fans to tits watching their team try to get a shot on target, let alone score an actual goal.

The criticism of :flick2: is, for the most part, unfair. Particularly considering how hamstrung he has been in the transfer market.

I guess it's true what they say, some people are never happy. :lamine:
Exactly. Flick is first coach after long time who brought us the combination of winning trophies and playing good, widely recognized, modern football. Which is what makes a great Barça side. Winning trophies, while scrubbing results and defending in low block is what makes a great Juventus side. It's about club tradition.

Now respect for Xavi. He brought us trophies, not the good football. But something is always better than nothing

And with squad this limited, I believe a lot of coaches wouldn't bring either to the table. So both Xavi and Flick did well with what they had

What's the origin of this delirious assumption that Messi is somehow getting loaned to us? GicianTelegraph?
Well, Messi visiting renovated Camp Nou at night and the pictures being reposted by official FC Barcelona social accounts.

But at this point this looks like a Laporta wetdream. As I said in another thread, Barca cannot afford his contract without breaking up Flick's current squad.

Is the 2nd half the evolution on his tactcis?

The right hand side with Yamal and RB in this case Garcia the possession dominant side with the LW being left open for more 1v1 situations out wide.

As teams are doubling up on Yamal anyway and currently with his injury his ability to go 1v1 on outside looks impacted.

Be interesting to see when Raphinha comes back if he stays wider as Rashford did and Balde sits more at LB while Garcia.. if picked tries to create a version of the Alves with Messi and becomes the right hand side more ball dominant and play making side rather than trying to create situations for getting Yamal in space.

Frenkie plays more on right with Garcia and Yamal as in 2nd half which also helps Araujo on ball having Garcia and Frenkie near him and opposition less likely to presss with traps if can be beat and Garcia/Frenkie get ball out and to Yamal.

Going to predict see more of this and once Pedri fit a midfield with Olmo and FDJ with less set AM and more fluidity as Yamal has more scope to get in there and Garcia can step into more midfield areas to allow both Pedri and Olmo to get forward more also.
