I always pictured ending my entire European career at Barcelona and then coming here, as I have now — that was my plan and my wish. The farewell moment was also a bit strange because of the circumstances and everything surrounding it. But I believe the love of the people will always remain.”
How do you experience all the love that still comes from Barcelona? Messi: “It’s wonderful. Everything that reaches me from Barcelona, from the people and from that period we lived together, fills me with nostalgia and deep emotion.”

Maybe I enjoy them more now than I did back then, because at the time we were caught in a whirlwind of constant matches, only focused on the next game without realizing what we were achieving. Do you still follow Barcelona's matches now? Messi: “Yes, of course! Especially since many of us players [Alba, Suarez, Busi] are still together now. We always talk and share our thoughts about what’s happening at the club, discussing the results and the way they play.”

The last time he got involved he got burned to crisp by Laporta. Stay out of Barca politics.
Also hate to be that guy, but I think there's less than 1% chance of Messi ever playing for Barcelona again unless Laporta(he will win Presidency again) literally gets on his knees and apologizes lol.
