Didn't understand the whistles either. Thing he did nothing to deserve it. Maybe we couldnt see something on the camera?

Either way, he looked a bit more lively. An improvement.

Yes I know, it's really sad how bad this team is in technical terms. Only Pedri and Yamal are capable of playing like that (and Pedri is usually too far from Yamal to do it) while Messi was surrounded with almost an entire team that was flawless technically. We went from the most technical team in history to Koundes, Lewas and Rashfords who can't control the ball, let alone play a one two with Yamal.
Messi had prime Alves on the wing. I've yet to see two players dismantle an entire team with give and go, 1 to 2 passing from near the half way line in the way they did it.

The more years that pass and the more football i watch, the more i realize just how great those guys were. Xavi, Iniesta, Alves, Villa, Puyi, Messi.. etc I see all these high praises for Pedri, even Lamine Yamal, and yes they are fantastic, but often i take a moment to look back and i ask myself " How do they compare to so and so" No comparison.

Those guys were absolutely goated. With every passing year, with every player that puts on this shirt, every squad that we assemble, that absence is felt more and that unique greatness further appreciate. Those type of players don't come around often. Let alone at the same time.

Puyol is overrated.

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
He isn't, nor ever will be as good as Messi, but you would be lying to yourself if you ever saw Messi be as impressive as he is at 18.

That second hand display is without doubt the best individual performance I've seen in Europe this season. Every time he had the ball he produced a line breaking pass, a great dribble, initiated an attack or moved us 30 yards to the pitch with his ball carry.

You realise how difficult that is when the rest of the 19 outfield players on the pitch could barely do any of the above collectively, let alone as an individual.

And he is doing all this with very very little help from his teammates. In a better team, Lamine would look much better than he does now.

I would reject a bid of 500m in an instant.

There is a lot, lot more to come from him.

Anything is possible.

People said there would never anything like Maradona and later came Messi. I'm sure the same thing has been said about the great teams of yesterday.

What I'm sure of is these type of teams don't happen often, and I as a cule am always subconsciously comparing every team to that one, and there's this lingering dissatisfaction and unfulfillable yearning because of it.

Luis De la Fuente: “Watching the game the other day, Lamine is ready to play”

Full 180 minutes loading, at this point he doesn't give a shite if Lamine gets injured again with no international games until March.

I wish Barca would just cancel this guy. Pull out every Barca player and see what he thinks.
