Yeah, cutting inside and taking solo actions with shots that fly wide or past the bar frequently.

As a world class player if you take as many shots better score dem goals at a more impressive rate.

He doesn't have a classic injury, but it will still limit him somewhat, at least in terms of his self-confidence. I have no doubt that he'll get better again. Today was the beginning; he already played better. He needs raphinha with his runs, which are better than the runs of rashford.

Looking good when having wide open highways of space. Considering the opposition he should have scored 3 at least. Something's off with him or just been found out.

Can't we try to play him more in the center distributing the ball to our strikers? With Pedri he has the best eye to feed the ball to strikers into empty spaces. Right now he clearly doesn't have the speed or strength to beat defenders and it's far too rare for him to receive ball when playing in wing which is not ideal considering his talent and playmaking abilities.

He has proven to do great things from the middle. Would be worth of a try IMO.

Don't think it will work. In the center there is far more traffic. You have to constantly bounce off players, be strong on your feet. There is more space wide for his qualities imo.

Half his problems comes from trying to do too much. He believes his hype too much already which is a problem. Nobody actually expects him to be among the best players at his age, and certainly no one expects him to dribble 2-3 players constantly like Messi did.

He should focus on his shooting more and try to improve that part of his game, misses too many good chances with poor shots. Once players get used to his style, it's very unlikely he will continue to dribble players for fun. As other said, his pace is not something special, and tricks only get you so far. He is a playmaker first. So pass the ball more.

You are not a scorer like Mbappe, and not a super fast speedster like Dembele.

Last season he didn't seem as obssessed with going for the goal himself so often. He took less shots and scored more goals as a result, because the opponent never knew what he would do. Playmaking has gone down, and he wants more goals. And he's not really that good at scoring goals, unless they are bangers.

Found out? If you think he can be found out you must think he is one dimensional player

Which, of course, is bullshit. This is one of the greatest talents football has ever seen

There are obviously some of you who have doubts about it. And it's fine. Eventually he will cement that status with his performances and achievements, but I hope you will remember you once doubted it

Doubt is very healthy. Doubt is what should make these players work hard. Nothing comes easy. You have to work for it. He said it himself recently. He has the talent, if he doesn't make it big, it's because his mentality wasn't good enough for the elite level.

Flick has hinted to this as well several times.

This I can agree with. There is a noticeable change in his decision making, as if he knows he won't be winning a Ballon d'or without goals and it's led to him forcing it. One of the most impressive things about Yamal was his ability to make the correct decision time and time again at such a young age where most teenagers are head down going for glory.
