Haven't been that up to date with Barca media last few days and must say it's refreshing. I hope players do the same because new negative crap is being spewed every single day.

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Breakdown on everything Catalan media have published on Lamine Yamal today.

- Barcelona are very disappointed with his recent statements and actions off the pitch

- They believe it gave Real Madrid players an extra motivation, which was crucial to their win at the Bernabeu

- The club think it's an immature mistake, and have assigned his agent Jorge Mendes to supervise his social media and interview appearances

- They think his private life has been too exposed recently, and want him to focus only on football

Doesn't really have a credible source, may just be for engagements

No problem with what he said, should have just said it after the game. They were already fired up after 4 straight humiliations. Providing them extra motivation by shittalking had no upside for us, especially when he knows that the team isn't at the best moment right now with all the injuries and half-fit players (including himself).

Overall no big deal, it will already be forgotten come next week. That Vini tantrum was far worse. Hilarious how dumb some players are. Negative spotlight is already full on Yamal, Barca is losing, you are winning, enjoy it. But no, you have to throw such a tantrum for getting subbed and disrespect your new coach infront of the whole world. Incredible low IQ move.

You're welcome
extra motivation is nonsense.

It only becomes extra motivation if the game is won. If Barca had won you would not have heard anything from Real players having failed despite being extra motivated.

All players are always extra motivated to win the clasico.

Extra motivated is just mentioned now cause it creates a favourable narrative for Real.

If Real had lost media would have dubbed it “Lamine’s mindgames worked and they were riled up”

See lots of guys in here are still defending him lol, he took a massive L on Sunday. Doubt he learned from it, people around him aren’t too bright either.
It's going to be good showcase of his maturity and character if he can learn from this and leaves the social media nonsense aimed at others to absolute minimum. It's not easy to admit you were wrong and change your attitude, so kudos to him if he can learn from this. I think it's a good sign he hasn't posted anything after the game despite many Real players baiting him.

I can't wait until our next game so this little drama quiets down and we can focus on more important things.

Genius move by lamine. All madrid scum talking shit fueling up our players for next ocassion. Finally they did us a favour with winning almost meaningless game only to hand them manita in spring

They're blaming him for "ruining the harmony" in the Spanish NT dressing room when the only thing he did was troll Real Madrid specifically, which backfired obviously for now. He's also 18 years old.

Meanwhile their 33 year old captain of the club and NT is trying to instigate physical fights with someone almost half his age and shit talking him after the game

Great leadership.

He'll never do it, but would be nice if he sits out for Spain the next couple of international breaks. Let them try to win with Yeremy Pino or something.

We’ll see his mental makeup, depending on how he responds to this adversity.

Easy to talk, hard to implement. I hope for our sake he is mentally strong.
