He's doing more than alright, great player for us... I actually like him and what he's doing for us a lot. It looks like he feels at home here, it's a no brainer that if the 30M clause is real we should buy him straight away. Sure, maybe he didn't work out as #9 from the get go - but if we want him there he'll find a way to adopt. He'll never be a Suarez #9, he'll always stray to the left a little - but we can find a way to make it work for everybody.

That happens all the time on here (not by you to be fair). People play 'I told you so' based on single games. It's barcaforum (in fact football fandom in general) at its finest. People judging by one off games.

People claiming anyone who criticises a player is wrong based on one good game.

Even the guy who liked your post and who I get on with - @MasQueCulé - said anyone who wanted Fermin sold is a fraud, all based on a group game against Olympiakos.

It's funny you're trying to play smart alec with me when I read your post above, spotted many flaws in it, but decided to leave it so as not to get involved in more arguments. Want me to go through it and tell you everything that is way off?

The fact you think Rashford will ever be good as a 9 - for example - proves you're utterly, utterly clueless about the player, and his past.

Guys like you who try to put a positive spin on everything and overrate every Barca player deserve Barca to be struggling financially, to be honest. You're no better than the deluded top reds on Redcafe. I have no respect for copers like you.

And my point is that - unlike guys like you - I don't flip flop on players based on one game, or after a few months at the start of the season. I am consistent in my views, until I see a real reason to change them.

I wait for a much larger sample size and don't get excited by meaningless goals in early group stage CL games against modest opposition.
