Real shame to see a formerly world-class player lumbering about like this. He's unrecognisable from Bayern days. Same with Ronaldo. Just retire lads, you've had awesome careers. 'Longevity' is overrated and you're doing your legacies harm.

To get a contract like he did from the age of 34-37 is only something most players his age could dream of.

He could have gotten more money from Saudi this summer. He preferred proper football.

He is still valuable as a 20-30min sub for now. Bigger problem is we hardly have anyone better than him to start. Ferran would be him but his scoring leaves a lot to be desired.
