It's been a constant issue with Guille. He looks like a player and is easy on the eye, but nothing as of yet comes together funcionally.

Cortes and Big Dom I find quite interchangeable actually. So it's no surprise if it is true that Flick rates him highest of the current B lot. He's a unit.

Give you your kudos for Tommy. First of the forum to point him out. Think he's in the U20 WC squad too.

Nomoko can dribble all day but his final ball is poor more often than not.

Could be some player if can get that final ball sorted. Looks like he panics and technique goes to fuck when has to make decision when due to release it.

He is young enough to develop and probably playing with bit of nerves.

At least he looks to be trying to release it at correct time an not head down like Adama does.

Refereeing was atrocious with a blatant penalty not called on Nomoko, scandalous really

I thought Dro, Cortes, Nomoko & Toni were standouts…Liked Oduro too

Dro & Toni both have something special but I continue to be surprised at Dro’s potential - there’s WC skills there

Only saw the the 2nd half of the 2nd half, can't really say much.

Nomoko needs control but he can make it in the first division, maybe for a mid table club if he develops.

That was definitely a penalty.

Oduro also looked good for the time I watched.

Cortes was probably Barcas best player.

Nomoko was decent but largely lacked end product.

Toni was ok and Dro had moments but looked a bit physically weak at times also.

Guille was poor again. Too many bad decisions and head down moments lacking awareness.

Watched back the full game from other day.

The team played at a different speed to their opponents and could have won that game by 7 or 8 goals on another day.

Hard to tell if that was largely down to how poor opposition was though.

Espart, Cortes, Tommy, Toni and Juan Hernandez all looked very good.

That is best game have seen Juan Hernandez have for Atletic side. He looked better than Guille has in that AM role for a while.

Hernandez look quick and a player that seems to be developing quickly.

Probably worst position to try and break into at Barca but would be good if could extend him and loan out to higher level.

Opposition were poor. Academy in transition which doesn't train defensive systems.

Change of scenery might be best for Guille. I'd have him behind a number of prospects just at the B level let alone the A. Get him in a more chaotic vertical side which would fit more in line with his strengths either on straight loan for a year or two or sale with buyback.

He won't want to, but he should use the example of Fermin Lopez who wasn't really seen as a starter in his JA days here. Went out on loan and it really happened for him. Obviously Guille would be looking at higher level than Linares, but same idea.
