Rashford makes what 300k a week, so that would be almost Sevillas yearly salaries. Lmao.

This league is a joke. If they don't see things are fecked up here, then good luck. You will never attract money clubs to this league either with these idiotic rules. How the feck are you supposed to compete internationally? Tebas is taking down the league. It's embarrassing.

Money comes to money. If you have so strict rules, no money will find to this league.

And yet they vote for him. So who is an idiot.

Good point. It's a rotten league inside. I guess the old owners are happy to pinch pennies while not seeing the future, which will be the ruins.

Old man's club looking after themselves. They don't have to take risks and invest a lot of money to have a team in the top league, but this will kill them in the future.

Well he brought them the cvc deal, that was supposed to fix all registration problems  .
This gave them short-term money, a good portion of which disappeared most likely into private pockets, but didn't improve their finances one bit. The whole country is corrupt, starting from the king.

Truth
VIP validation is linked to it but this drop has to be about matchday revenue as this formula is likely based on using Cruyff stadium since Camp Nou has only been given a green light recently and only partially. It has no impact to current squad as it will change in February but it absolutely handcuffs the club in January window should they pursue a target. Question is if they are up to 60k attendance in October and the VIP seats are validated

However, overall, it's scandalous really. Club has generated substantial transfer income, shed high salaries, increased revenues, sponsorship & commercial deals and have streamlined operating costs (Even at expense of Femeni) yet the gap with the capital is increased in terms of the cap

At best its deliberately selective enforcement or scrutiny but it is well document that corruption is endemic in Spain. In terms of corruption index the country has actually continued to drop as they persist in failing to enforce or implement anti-corruption measures (GRECO) - zero transparency, zero confidence

The way this sounds, it would make it look like we actually can't pay players or even Sevilla for that fact lol.

While everything FC Barca said is true.

That's the whole problem with LaLiga summed up. They just make up rules for their own ffp and interpret them like they want to. There are countless examples over the years, how they evaluated same things differently. Nobody aside from them can understand it.
But instead of focusing on this, the clubs gang up on Barca because Laporta tries to find loopholes in this intransparent corrupt shitshow they call ffp. The clubs deserve what is coming with Tebas ruling over them. Laporta should continue to look out for Barca, fuck the rest because they want it apparently.

I don't want to get dragged into the Laporta great or he sucks, but the numbers are ugly and actually bad.
I expected us to be in a better shape this year, but it is worse.
We can't keep operating like this, and it seems we are putting all our eggs on the Camp Nou elevating us. I hope it works, because if by 2027/2028 we aren't within 150M from RM, I would consider it a financial failure from the board.
