Fell asleep and missed the third goal, but before that it was a good game. Italy started well actually, put a few good moves together, but Spain took control after they went 1-0 down.
Shocker of a handball after failed clearance by Paredes, she was lucky to get away with that with it being offside. Terrible touch by the Spanish girl that set up the Italy goal for them too. Beautiful dribbling in tight spaces, then a great touch by Putellas, then a beautiful finish, for Spain's first goal. That goal was art.
Bonmati was a bit quiet. For a guy who doesn't know much about women's football and has rarely seen her play, she can obviously do better and has many times before. I hope we get to see the best of her before the tournament climaxes.

Yeah I alluded to that before, as we discussed. I am not criticising her, just saying I hope she gets back to her best before tournament finishes, so I can enjoy watching her at her best.

Sweden v Germany tonight. Both qualified already. Winner tops the group. A draw means Sweden are top on account of superior goal difference.

I didn't actually watch the game but bit surprised Sweden pumped the Germans, though would be tighter than that.
Tonight's group to confirm the last 8 will be interesting, with one of France, Netherlands and England having to miss out (likely Netherlands).

Spain seems to be the strongest team in this EURO and would surprise me if they dont win it.

Spain struggles against physical sides but I think the Suisse just lack sufficient quality to prevent a loss. Just hope they can keep it from a heavy scoreline
