How do you know so much about women's football? I didn't realise you followed it.

Bro it doesnt matter for me if male football or women football, i always watch football when i have time and i watch every EURO/WC of both genders

Sometimes i find women football even more interesting because of their crap ball control and finishing (compared to male football) as more surprises happen / things you dont expect - i can highly recommend you to watch more women football, siu 👍

Fair enough. I am gonna watch some. I did watch Finland-Iceland last week, opening game, but then had other stuff on.

I will watch Switzerland-Finland tonight.

Keep an eye on Suisse star Sydney Schertenleib who also plays for Femeni
She looked good in the first half - nice cross for the flick, and good shot before that too. Generally decent link up.

Switzerland should probably be winning, but of course they only need a draw. They can't think that way though - they have to go for the win.

Caligaris is known to be a bit rash but definitely foolish. Suisse had the better chances, Sydney looked gassed and probably why she was subbed early - gave the ball away too often I thought

Great drama for the finish, even if they go out against Spain a QF for the host country is a big win

Yes it was a silly challenge, but these things happen in football. Switzerland did have the better chances and more of the game, but as the penny dropped that Finland needed a goal, the Finns started to cause them more problems with about half an hour to go. Switzerland got out of jail a bit with the late goal, but at the same time they didn't deserve to lose the game.

Yeah she looked tired and her touch looked heavy as the game progressed. That Lehmann who came on looks like she was playing wide right and had a few nice moments but she's not as good as Schertenleib as a forward.

True, they don't wanna go out as hosts in the group stage - commentator (Jonathan Pearce) said it has only happened twice, and once it was England.

Wow, great end of the game, missed the 1st half and Syd wasn't really that good in 2nd tbf. But glad she'll get a chance to probably play against her Spanish team mates.

Good interview, needed to turn on the subtitles though, I understand German pretty good but this Suisse dialect (don't know which one exactly) is difficult to understand.

Skipped through that interview (with English subtitles as unlike you I don't speak German, lol) - pretty good. Seems a level headed lass.

Feel bad for the Finns. But that was a dumb challenge by the Swiss girl to give away the penalty. The equaliser was a nice goal.

They were both likely playing for the privilege of losing to Spain anyway. But Swiss won't care about that at the moment.

Poor @FinBarcelonafan :(

But nice to see Switzerland in quarter final, always drama and action when this country plays 👀

Italy v Spain about to start. Aitana starting this game. Portugal v Belgium in the other game but the Portuguese need a win, an Italy loss, and a massive GD swing to qualify.
