Imo, with the GK situation hopefully sorted out by Garcia's signing we still need to reinforce all: RB, LB, LW and ST positions, all need to be adresses ASAP and yeah, with quality players able to to fight for the starting spots. Would need a starting CB too since Araujo and Garcia aren't starting material and Christensen won't stay.

Sure, but with what money?

In my job as a life coach, I constantly tell my clients, " When the UNIVERSE gives you a sign, you will NEVER lose if you follow it. "

We've just got our sign.

It's time.

Every Cule wants to see this guy's pussy eating celebration at the Nou Camp Nou.

As much as I'd like to see him playing up top with Raphinha, Lamine and also Pedri, we unfortunately won't see it because Lewa ain't going anywhere. They cucked themselves the moment they gave a 34 year old a long contract for no reason.

Given the fact we likely lost Nico due to registration uncertainties, our finances are nowhere near as good this summer as most of us hoped it would be 1 year ago. And this is after finishing deferred payments to old players, getting rid of Lenglet with no wages owed AND loaning out Ansu with favorable terms to Monaco. Not to mention income from several youth players and sell-on bonuses.

At this point I think we'll be lucky to hold out and hope Man U caves and we get a favorable loan for Rashford...and this is coming from someone that has very low expectations for him. It is very unlikely they go for a young, promising winger like Nusa, Fofana or Paixao considering they have shown zero interest in doing so what so ever until now. That's if they can even afford it. Roony seems great, but he thrives from the right side which doesnt help us where we actually need it.

Get Rashford on loan, hope Flick can continue god tier man managing, and bring in a versatile LB/FB. This is realistically what we can afford without selling our souls further. I'd want a new CB to replace Araujo, but they don't have the imagination to pull that off either imo.

This is a little where I also think we are. Next season though, with income from Camp Nou and Lewa gone we'll be in a much better position :)

One less option for us

Who's left now? Isak, Alvarez, Sesko - all over 100 milion next summer lol, great

If he explodes in the PL, I think I will explode too

Sesko's stats aren't impressive and the eye test isn't too hot either. Arsenal needs a striker that's ready to compete and bang in goals now while the squad is overall strong, Sekso isn't that player imo. Was wondering what was taking them so long.

Sesko needs to breakthrough first. Gyôkeres way more proven at this point. Gyo also good because he is in prime age and ready to produce. Good signing for Arsenal. They had Havertz for way too long starting.

No 9 on the market is worth it for us at the prices being asked. Our issues with most positions are squad depth, not starting positions. If all are fit, then the only signing that we need in the first 11 is a CB. I continue to believe that. Especially after recent signs that Stegen is out of it.

Let's see Ferran Torres this year. People treat him lightly but he showed great things last season imo. And he's only 25.

What's bad for us on CL hunt is the difficult league we play in. Madrid are a fierce domestic rival, and pretty much unlike any other team other clubs face in their domestic fronts.

The difficulty of La Liga and the fight with Madrid is gonna drain us, to the point it will be unlikely to arrive in CL later stages with full fitness in the team and all first 11 valid. It's not like Ligue 1 or Bundesliga where you can build 15-20 point leads vs 2nd placed team, and basically have it in the bag by March. Then you can rotate a lot in your domestic league and make sure the players are properly rested for CL.

In La Liga, you can't even rest vs Leganes and Valladolid as it showed last season, teams from the relegation zone. Completely different level in terms of rivalries and difficulty.

That's a reality that makes it very tough to go on all fronts with a short squad until the end.
