I thought the kid was ambitious to be a world class player. Good luck having the type of numbers to warrant 90m being paid while playing for Bilbao. Sealed his fate. He'd better have an elite World Cup or else he'll waste his career.

Looking at his statistics many were against it tbh. I didn't think he would be a flopp, but I also never thought he would set the world on fire.

This "cant be registered" schtick is Urnalist and their camp saving faces.
If it was the registration issue, then he could have easily waited for a week to get the picture clear, or just went with Bayern's offer they were offering him a lot more anyways, and are a much bigger club than Bilbao.
You cant go, I want to sign no matter what, to Bilbao coming out with statements, to we want guarantees, to I just signed a 10-year deal with 50%+ cluase and probably double the salary, in a mere week.
Its just not possible. He leveraged us and Bayern to get a fatter deal. He was already in talks with Bilbao, and he just conveniently used us and bayern.
Knowing fully that this might be his last chance to get some interest on him from other clubs.
After this saga, no one is going to touch him with a ten foot pole, knowing how he acts and his clause is 90m+.
