Barca 2025 pre-season

Asia makes sense financially and logistically, especially with big markets in Korea and Japan. €20m is a solid figure for a short tour. Curious if this becomes a longer-term shift away from the US or just a one-off change due to scheduling or demand.

US will always be preferred destination. But there's too much attention there now with CWC and WC next year. It's good timing to satisfy the Asian fans.

Next year we should go to South America or Africa.

We'll probably end up just going to the middle ea$t lol.

I'm also surprised we aren't going to China on this your, unless I'm mistaken

US is a popular destination due to fees they command and facilities for clubs but Asia is probably a much smarter longer term strategy

Plus, Asia lacks the ongoing Yankee lunacy

WC2026 will be a disaster

Nah, Trump will make "a big beautiful" WC!

Bernal, Christensen, Joan Garcia, Araujo, Fort and Ibrahim Diarra already working at CE.

Injured ones recovering and players who want to prove themselves early, good to see.

Landry Farré, Juan Hernández, Jan Virgili, Ibrahim Diarra, Toni Fernandez, Guille Fernández, Pedro Fernández and Jofre Torrents are the reserve players that will join Barcelona's first team in pre-season.

They have to convince Flick to take them to the preseason tour.

Is Roony then officially a first team player? Good choices nut probably many won't go to the tour, we have a big squad

With other offers he had I'm sure he wouldn't accept coming here to play for BA in Segunda RFEF. So yeah, he'll do a preseason and then club will decide if he'll stay or go on loan.

Also wouldn't surprise me if club promised him a loan to get regular minutes he needs after just returning from injury so he signed here rather than Porto for example where he would have much better chances to get first team minutes.

And if that is the case then I'm fully supporting the idea and it shows this club is finally learning something. Other clubs are signing players and sending them straight on loans all the time and we never do that.

It’s an interesting mix of youth players to potentially integrate. Obviously Guille & Toni are most touted but Virgili, Juan & Diarra could make a splash. Dani unfortunately still not quite there

I love pre-season, a chance to get a look at new Masia talents who can break into the senior side
