I think Tuchel will be worse. I think managing an international camp is a skill in itself and I don't think you can just bring in an elite club manager and expect improvement purely off the back of that. Tuchel falls out with people at the best of times. He's not a good pick at all in my opinion. And he's German.

we will see, could be a club manager like Hansi but in cl he did very very well in knockout rounds and his PSG was even better than Hansi-Bayern in final

He won't be with the players long enough to fall out with any of them. He was also brought in to make the in-game changes that Southgate was unable to make when things weren't going England's way in the finals they made. He's already shown he can do that at Chelsea. Southgate had lots of positives and did a great job on the whole, but tactically he was always second best against any decent manager. Tuchel is a winner. Southgate is a likeable loser.

Will they win a major tournament in our lifetime? I am saying no.

Like Man United in the PL (who admittedly have a chance every year rather than every two), I think it could be a very long time before they win a trophy.

If you make 2 finals and a semi under Southgate you've got every chance. England didn't get out of 3rd gear in the last Euros yet still spluttered along to the final. They're among 5 or 6 teams that can win a World Cup (not next year) or the Euros.

He'll be with them more than their wives for weeks. Capello was a disaster in large part because of the environment he created. It's a massively undervalues aspect of managing at international level. It doesn't surprise me that the World Cup, Euros and UEFA Nations League winning coaches are all either former international coaches at youth level or have been in that kind of job for many years.

How pathetic. England has some of the best players in the world.

Cope better.
For example?

I don't think any english player currently makes top 10 in the world. Bellingham, arguably. But for this season alone, you can definitely name 10 players that were better.

Saka is best English player at the moment, the top 10 anyone could muster outside of that in England couldn’t get into Barça’s XI, and even he wouldn’t start at Barça

English hubris

Man is telling someone to cope better with his nation haven't won anything in his lifetime

Until England actually wins something they will always be criticized for being overhyped or overrated. Bellingham and Saka are great though.

I'd rather choose Kane as their best. Great striker and very intelligent, with good passing culture. Bellend is an absolute marketing hype product and don't know much about Saka, because who cares about Arse.
