When you judge that individual staff, you say was a good addition then. You don't have all this loss and say "oh, this minimum wage guy was one of the additions, he is the reason why we decreased our shareholder value, fire him"
I mean if you can afford hiring a superior employee, sure do it.
If he asks for a pay raise that is bigger than his output, then move on.
But when you judge the fiscal year performance, you say it as it is. We did a get value return from this guy, we as a company has failed.

...he might not be the reason, but his contributions is zilch...zero..niente m...nothing....if the company becomes bankrupt and is folding. Besides, using a balance score card measure to gauge his performance, he won't suddenly get 100% on profitability or any financial measure while the company is folding just becuase he did overtime or performed his own task well....to what sense? It was a collective failure, especially given the expectation and high hopes/potentials he came with.

sure.. let's blame Felix for not winning the league, even though he wasn't a regular starter and scored some clutch goals when he featured.
He is by no means the solution to our lw issue but the team failed as a whole in many occasions where felix had nothing to do with it.
he was a good loan. not a flop. but still wouldn't want the club to buy him.

No bro! Certainly not. No one is blaming him for the failures of the club,not in that context. This came up in the view of those hailing his numbers and some stating that those kept us in the league(that was lost as far back as 1st Classco in October, anyway). His contributions added no value as the entire group failed. One can even state that given his potentials, he is even a flop for posting those numbers. The reason for failure this season is glaring. Xavi, the comedian.

He is a flop as far as his supposed potential go, since his AM days, no argument there.
Xavi and the team messed up in the league badly, also true.
I would say the difference with last season is mainly Mats being clutch, Busquets (an actual DM), luck and Balde ( was still on good form) instead of the lunatic Cancelo.
Xavi didn't really change much.

The biggest difference is moving from 4 midfielders, 2 forwards to 3 midfielders, 3 forwards and Xavi having no idea on having to hold a defensive stability in a more attacking setup.

Man, do you even read what you write? Even your examples contradict what you are trying to say.

High expectation? Only a fool had high expectation for Felix, he was a flop for Atletico and failed to succeed in Chelsea
We got him because he was the only player we could afford for the price.
Tell me whom we could have got for 0.5M that would have had a better input? This is the cost of a bench player in Celta Vigo FFS

For the cost, Felix is a bargain.
If you can afford better, you go for it. But if you judge a deal that was made, you do it based on cost and opportunity cost. In both cases Felix is a good deal.

He's a flop.

He was clearly brought in as a starter for left flank and ended up on the bench by the end of season.

We didn't win any trophy with him around and his most important contribution was the winning goal vs Porto at home.

This guy is a straight up fraud. He often disappears but shows up every once in a while so his clueless teenage fans gush over him on Twitter. Does a few tricks and flicks to fool people. This is the third high profile club he technically has been benched and flopped out on. No one can "unlock" him. This is just who he is.

I see Saudi in his future or MLS
