9 - Robert Lewandowski

Semi-Neutral

I'd lol at that, no way we need that many (or any) Germans in our lineup.

Replace Mascherano with Ramos, Hummels with Bartra, Ter Stegen with De Gea, Lewandowski with Tello and we're good to go.

Ramos is not coming, Bartra is still too inexperienced, and Man U are not letting go of De Gea. I do want to see Tello get more chances next season, though. Do you have something against Germans, semi-neutral?

Barca have to decide if it is worth keeping Messi happy at the cost of keeping the attack unbalanced. I have been yapping for the past 2 seasons about a pure striker. Even a striker like Drogba would have made some difference this season. Lewa is a pure striker with an instinct for goal. Doesnt look for a million passes or options. Looks to put the ball in the net asap. The third was a beauty-exactly what we need and what Pedro and Alexis dont do.

Its a damn shame Bayern are looking to buy all the Dortmund players. Didnt they do that to the Leverkusun side in 2003??

Only in terms of football. :)

It's not that I dislike players because they're German, mind you, it's that I end up disliking pretty much every single German player (save for Podolski ). And what makes you think all of those clubs will let go of their players? Besides, there's only one way to cure inexperience, and that's with playing time. He can alternate with Puyol/Abidal, enough so he doesn't have to play all the big games but still gets the experience.

Luft, I am aware, my mistake. Still feel the same way though. :)

bottom line: Lewandowski has agreed deal with Bayern, Bayern bidding €25m for summer move, Dortmund holding firm for the moment

Surely if our scouts have been watching Hummels, they'll have seen this fella :shakeshead:

Why do Bayern need Lewandowski. They already have Mandzukic.
Seriously, fuck off Pep, you are destroying Dortmund.

There's no need for that kind of language but in essence I agree with you.
Particularly disgusting was releasing the Gotze news just to cover up Hoeness tax evasion. Bayern gained a lot of fanboys lately but also lost a lot of true admirers as well.

Don't like this, Bayern are the biggest bully in german football atm. Wish them bad luck, even after Pep joins. But what really puzzles me, I actually don't think Pep will do a better job with Bayern.

Dortmund made Lewandowski another offer after Götze news broke, but he said no.

I really hope he doesn't go to Bayern. Taking him and Gotze would be unbelievably cruel.
