I guess this is the issue with players that rely on their much superior athleticism in youth categories. They don't develop like others and once they are in the first team there's not always time for that development to happen with the pressure you're under.

While I agree with you, it's a little unfair to compare Cancelo to Balde. Cancelo is pretty much a winger, a winger with exceptional technique and dribbling - dude can play LB, RB, LW, RW. Hopefully Flick sees this, we need Cancelo if for example Yamal gets injured and we need to field a player in CL semifinal. Cancelo is a magician...
