Tommy can do well in Casado's role coming off the bench here and there next season. Or somebody else, he came to my mind because Flick trusts him. But La Masia certainly doesn't lack talent in midfield

Exactly... Gavi is on his way back, Bernal is much better on the ball and not really worse defending and we need space for Masia talents anyway because that's how we operate. Casado is a gritty midfielder with alright technique, he'll walk in to most mid table EPL teams or even higher table Serie A clubs. Swap him for Marcus Thuram, Casado would do good in Inter imo.

Casado should get nowhere near EPL midfields.

If any of them buy him it will be a mistake but they do make them as all teams do.

Too short, weak and slow and doesnt have the technical ability.

A new contract is just a poor decision there is no need for it at all.

Casado is fucking nowhere near as good as DMs in EPL mid table like James Garner at Everton. Nowhere near.
