I'd take it if we strategized correctly. But I would prefer to sell Olmo even if he is a better suited player injury free.
But a top centreback like Schotterback in return I could go with.
This is where the disillusion with losing Dro comes btw. Door was right there for when Fermin or Olmo want to move and be a starter.
At least from my own observations, Dro wasn't good enough to replace anyone. Let's see if his development at PSG confirms that.
Regarding Fermin, he's a €70-100m player earning approximately €4m per year until summer 2029. If we don't want to sell him, we should extend his contract by the end of 2027 at the latest. He'll likely want a more appropriate salary sooner because he deserves it, and that's why he might want to leave. But with this low salary for at least another 1.5 years, he's very valuable to us, and even if we sell him and buy a player who is just as good or better (even if he's a defender), it will cost significantly more in wages per year.
So no i don’t want to sell him, i hope we give him a new contract in 1,5 years.
Edit:
Olmo, if he's inform, is a world-class player, but due to his age, he's not worth that much anymore; you won't get more than €40 million for him. Furthermore, he has a long and lucrative contract, so there's no incentive for him to leave his home club, making a sale of Olmo very unrealistic.
