If he is suspended for several games, the suspension carries over to the Copa del Rey, but not to La Liga, I think?

Don't think there was intention but he should stop with holding his head in disbelief and more standing up for the team. Raphi and Eric needed to intervene when he was being flacid as usual.

Silly tackle, especially since the referee was making it clear he was willing to help Madrid get an equaliser.

However, it shouldn't be lost on anyone, the extra effort and fight he puts in in these big games.

He hates Madrid and definitely has love for the club.

That's worth something that can't be bought, in my eyes.

I thought he was 2nd in line for Man of the Match before the red card (which could have easily been a yellow).

He was everywhere, always at right place and at the right time to take the ball and in possession he was precise, commanding, and the stabilizer of the team.

He was easily the midfield maestro of the match outshining Pedri.

Frenkie tried the long game. He knew the game was already over and tried to raise his boot to take out Mbappe's already injured knee. Mbappe without two functioning knees is basically season over for Real.:frenkie:

Good game, mister.

Amazing defensive performance. The red card felt unlucky incident. Both Frenkie and Pedri are instructed to disbalance the opponent in loose balls that could start counters.

Soft red, but the slow motion replay with the studs going into the knee make it hard to argue against. Even if there was very little speed or intent behind it.

Suspension should be the minimal.
