We are cooked for next years also, this is what it means.
When we are linked with Vlahovic that means we are cooked.

Although truth to be told Vlahovic did show some good performances for Juve this season
But sample is too small, to expect him to make some big change. Will probably be like another Ferran, wildly inconsistent and bodied vs every half good opponent
I see Luka Vuskovic is a Tottenham player, and that they got him for 12m or smth in 2025 from Hajduk. Are we really this retarded that we can't do our own homework?
Why didn't we know about him and got him from Croatia directly?
We were interested and got outbid iirc. It is always difficult to warrant splashing 12M for someone before he is in first team.
Matteo Moretto said Barca is eyeing a young CB in the next window, he said he will reveal the name(s) in the next few days. It could be typical bs, but he is fairly reliable.
The "young" CB that were mentioned in the media before were Luka Vuskovic, who we practically has no chance to get, and Konstantinos Koulierakis from Wolfsburg .
There was also the rumour about El Chadaille Bitshiabu being offered to us.
That's where scouting department is supposed to step in. If you can't afford to spend 40-70m on a ready made player, then you have to pay up for the bigger talents and cover the development yourself.
Selling clubs aren't stupid. They have their own internal rating of young players, and the better talents won't be obtainable for dirt cheap. Same old story, better quality costs more almost all the time. At every level.
If you can't afford 40M players, you can't afford 12M prospects. It is as simple as that regardless the strength of your scouting department.
Being broke affects those chesp signings equally to the expensive ones.
There are no scouting in the world that can guarantee a sure thing, and you can't have two or three players that cost 10M+ with no resale value in hope someone will ve a success, all while being barely able to register a 25M GK.
Deco has been trying for the high end talent since he arrived, it is just not feasible with our limitations.
We still do decent deals, Roony was great one so far, Gerard Martin is worth way more what we paid for, Faye & Pau were sold for far more money than what we bought him.
But at some point, it is unfair to expect every first team need to be covered by a 16-19 years old, whether it is La Masia or signing
. Pedri cost 20m btw, not 5. Solid talents are not cheap. Higher price is not a guarantee the player will be a hit, but you will rarely lose money on resale. The quality is at least good enough to move the player to a smaller club and make up your investments if not bank in a bit of profit for your time spent with the player.
