The fact that only 2 Spanish teams have ever won the CL/EC is absolutely diabolical and proves that it's a 2 team league. Even Germany has produced 3 different winners of the EC/CL.

Have to also mention that a single bench player of Westham is probably worth more than entire current Sevilla football club so the achievements of modern PL clubs on global stage are less than underwhelming given their unfair financial advantage.
Spain seem to always been the poorest league of the top historical 5 and it's the two huge city states that have always dominated them. It's not that government has created special policies for that, it's that those two city states are the government.

LL is superior to PL historically (stature of clubs, European success at all levels, best players of all time, best teams of all time), and it won't change for the next 10-20 years unless there's a seismic shift and PL churns out a highly dominant or two side.
These things take a while to change. Serie A is still historically the best league (just slightly above LL) because of what they represented between 1980 and 2006ish.

All they do is what billionaires do, when buying up poor, indebted peoples lands and assets, because the later have no choice. Yeah the funny thing is, English aren't exactly better at the ball but they are better getting investors. That's something Italy and Spain needs to do better to compete. I would take Spain and Italy experience and talent over England.
As we can see with Saudi and the Oil countries. Money will always attract the best talent.

The EPL is definitely the strongest and best league in the world at the moment but you have to remember what they had to do to get there.
I always laugh when EPL fans goad Barca about being 'broke'.

It's not that much that these oil arabs have taken over, but fact that City Of London (which is literal city state within a city, independent of any rules or laws of London or UK for centuries) is a crown seat of global international banking and finance cartel so they can decide which countries cand do what or not and print money on the whim too. None other state has such asset within it. Not that this feature benefit anyone outside the pedogarchy.

Barca had only 1 CL/EC before 2006. Only 2 Spanish teams have ever won the CL/EC. Everybody here trying to avoid these points because it doesn't fit their narrative. Nobody has a counter argument to this (they can't come up with one).
Real being the biggest European powerhouse doesn't mean the entire league is of that level. Madrid doing a lot of the heavy lifting here for the Liga.
Then Bayern should elevate the Bundesliga more because of their consistent success and stature.
