Muller wouldnt be in discussion ever for one of the best AM of all time. Nowhere near it.

Busi would be for DM and many peoples number one.

That is the reality.

Does that make him a good coach? No.

To be honest from what seen of Busi he seems to lack a bit of charisma and leadership for that but sometimes it comes out when retire and he would get instant respect.

Having a hge football IQ can be a blessing and a curse. It looked like it drove Xavi bananas when team were not doing things he probably thought fairly simple.

Comment from many players who have been coached by legends who couldnt cut it is 'he didnt realise we couldnt do the things he did'.

Busquets has notable weaknesses in his game and is way too weak defensively and in transitions to be the best DM ever.

Busquets was excellent at reading the game and intercepted well but was ridiculously easy to dribble past and a massive liability against quicker/physical opponents, especially in transitions. Those beautiful dragbacks and feints don't make up for these glaring deficiencies.

Fans here won't admit it because of ego but all of them know that Busquets was one of Barca's biggest weaknesses in Europe for ages and the biggest reason why Barca didn't win more CLs after 2015. Look at any disappointing Barca result in that era and Busquets' fingerprints were all over the crime scene.

Lothar Matthäus is so clear of Busquets that it's a joke. As are few others in that position.

Stevie G could never win a league for Liverpool and fluffed his lines when had chance for example.

Still an all time great for them.

Matthaus was not a DM or even close at his peak anyway.

Busquets will absolutely be in discussion of best ever DM and many peoples number 1.

Kante carried relegation-favourites Leicester to a league title, then changed clubs and took the league title to that club. After that he won the World Cup while being one of the best players and then dominated teams on the way to a CL triumph winning Man of the Match in the quarters, semis and final of that run while singlehandedly dominating one of the greatest midfield trios ever (KCM).

Busquets could never.

Shade of 23/24 season. Players are injuried left and right. Summer transfer isn't high quality (bar Joan Garcia). RM hardly drop point in the league.
