Fabregas and Arteta have the perfect personality for management. Xavi did too.

Muller has average technical ability. His IQ made him an all time great.

Xavi's Football IQ is higher than Messi's. Talent and ability is a different thing. Just because Messi is better doesn't mean he's smarter than Xavi.

Xavi and Muller had exceptional Football IQ. People here are clueless about Football outside the La Liga big 2. Raumdeuter Muller's IQ was the only thing that made him a legend of the game.

Muller's positional instincts, spatial awareness, passing empathy for teammates and reading of the game were second to none. Off the ball, he was the trigger for Bayern's collective press as a unit. It all started with him as the pressing trigger.

Xavi ran games and dominated the strongest teams in the world for 5 years of his peak. Dude was the heartbeat of the "tikitaka" system Spain and Barca played. He was the most crucial element of that system controlling the tempo in the middle of the park.

Anyone who questions Muller or Xavi's Football IQ is a moron who doesn't understand the game.

Messi's football IQ is slightly above even Xavi, which really tells you how good Messi is. Xavi can see everything while Messi can even see the unseeable.

Muller is of course intelligent player. But way below like Messi, Xavi, Busi...

And Muller isn't an all time great player, not at top 40 players of all time very least.

Because Muller's position/role is unique and tough to be classified. Also, because he lacks technical ability compared to other greats. His Football IQ is right up there.

Couldn't care less if he isn't in top 100. He is an all time great defensive midfielder.

No disrespect to Muller. But he isn't at Messi or Xavi level when it comes to intelligence. Again, these two are at the higest level in football, so no bad thing when someone is below them.

Then Football IQ and coaching ability aren't just the same.

Will add Platini to the list of highest Football IQs.

Too young to watch him play but based on my research and analysis, he's probably right up there in terms of Football IQ.

Muller wouldnt be in discussion ever for one of the best AM of all time. Nowhere near it.

Busi would be for DM and many peoples number one.

That is the reality.

Does that make him a good coach? No.

To be honest from what seen of Busi he seems to lack a bit of charisma and leadership for that but sometimes it comes out when retire and he would get instant respect.

Having a hge football IQ can be a blessing and a curse. It looked like it drove Xavi bananas when team were not doing things he probably thought fairly simple.

Comment from many players who have been coached by legends who couldnt cut it is 'he didnt realise we couldnt do the things he did'.

Busquets has notable weaknesses in his game and is way too weak defensively and in transitions to be the best DM ever.

Busquets was excellent at reading the game and intercepted well but was ridiculously easy to dribble past and a massive liability against quicker/physical opponents, especially in transitions. Those beautiful dragbacks and feints don't make up for these glaring deficiencies.

Fans here won't admit it because of ego but all of them know that Busquets was one of Barca's biggest weaknesses in Europe for ages and the biggest reason why Barca didn't win more CLs after 2015. Look at any disappointing Barca result in that era and Busquets' fingerprints were all over the crime scene.

Lothar Matthäus is so clear of Busquets that it's a joke. As are few others in that position.

Players get judged at their peak years as will Busquets.

Stevie G could never win a league for Liverpool and fluffed his lines when had chance for example.

Still an all time great for them.

Matthaus was not a DM or even close at his peak anyway.

Busquets will absolutely be in discussion of best ever DM and many peoples number 1.

Muller isnt even the best Muller.
