VIrgil doing Virgil things again, absolute stunning defender and one of the coolest players ive ever seen.

Good to see this coming from someone like you.

The mainstream fans and casuals have started recognising VVD's greatness now.

The casuals and mainstream fans already LOVE RL9 and rate him extremely highly.

Great to see your favourite players get the recognition they deserve.

VVD is our most important and best player of the post Gerrard era by a countrymile.

Most important LFC players of this era:

1) VVD

2) Alisson
3) Salah

Anyone who disagrees that VVD is the clear number 1 simply hasn't watched Liverpool games week in week out (or the big finals and knockout games lol). It's that simple.

Only City - Napoli and Toon - Barca are truly good games.

I think Napoli and Barca are winning but I've been wrong everytime until now.

@Temptation
I know that most wont believe me,but Barca truly was my first love.

This is the only forum I've EVER been registered on.

You called me out on my username,so I have to defend myself.

You can talk how I hold rivals in high regard etc. but thats just a case of each to their own.

You immediately said you adored my name, but I really started to hate it after a week.

Will always think of you as Prince of Macedonia.

And that's a good thing because even when you clearly needed help back then, I never judged you, showed empathy, benevolence and always rated you as a good person.

You'll always be Prince of Macedonia to me no matter what your username is.

i thought it will be more difficult to replace Salah than Alisson

Salah was immense in PL for you guys and the reason why it was so close many times vs City

He's great but VVD is obviously and clearly better and more influential.

I put Alisson above Salah because a world class GK is way more important for winning big titles.

Let's not forget when Mane and Salah were at their peak, around 60% of PL fans preferred the former. For extended periods, Salah wasn't even our best attacker under Klopp.

Salah is probably the Liverpool legend I like the least. Ofcourse I respect him and like him because of his contribution to the club but he rarely makes me go "wow" you know. Just doesn't have a special place in my heart like other Liverpool legends.

I think he's a bit overrated and boring.

1-3 Barce

Woltemade,Lewangoalski brace and Raphinha.

Napoli to lead at half time and draw in the end.

Other games are weak, and I have restricted interests.

2 more games that I will be wrong about is okay enough.

Rewatched Liverpool vs. Atletico and Bayern vs. Chelsea:

- Atletico actually wasn't as bad as I’d initially thought. They were able to recover from the early shock and competed well from 10-90th minute. Were toothless in attack though, they desperately missed Julian Alvarez and even to a lesser extent. Not sure yet how to feel about Liverpool yet, but I‘ve not liked what I’ve seen from Wirtz so far.

- Bayern‘s going to be a problem for everyone in the tournament. Harry Kane may be the best Striker in the world, Olise is world class and ascending, Upamecano has seemingly eliminated the mental errors from his game, Neuer and Kimmich are as good as ever, Davies is set to return before the knock out’s, etc. Scary side, supremely talented and tactically flexible. Outside of Cole Palmer, they looked a tier above.

The idea presented above, or by other fans, that Salah is boring to watch or just a goalscorer has always been baffling to me - he's had some real moments of genius and some of his dribbling and passing is outstanding.

I reckon it's envy from rival fans. And in Tempt's case, he doesn't like Salah getting more praise than Lewa (which he should as he has more individual football ability and genius). It's especially ridiculous when the same guy talks up Ronaldo, who is much more of a goal hanger than Salah and has been for over a decade. At least be consistent in your rating.
