Where in the world did you read that he will be Messi?
"You don't sell Lamine even for a billion. As non-negotiable as Messi."

You implied he should be treated as Messi. My opinion is that he is not this one-off that can't be sold for any amount.

If any sucker wants to pay 1 billion...

Interesting discussion guys, just my 2 cents:

What Yamal did last season and the season under Xavi with 16/17/18 is not normal and definitely above Hazard at Lille. When Ney came here he was 21 and his 13/14 season was way worse than what Lamine showed so far. The level in europe is completely different to Brazil. But i rate peak Ney (2014-2018) above Yamal, he could do everything with the ball, just unlucky not to win more cls.

So talent-wise Yamal is easily one of the best of all time, especially if you consider what he has already did in BIG games, like CL or EURO.

But obviously he doesnt have the professionalism of a Lionel, CR7 or Lewy. He reminds me more a mini-Ronaldinho and if he wins CL and WC i feel he could lose motivation in football.

i dont know man, ive read Messi's biography and ppl said there when he was a teenager he could only think about football and how to improve himself while Lamine is changing women every several weeks...
Only thinking about football has nothing to do with professionalism. Professionalism relates more to responsibilities and doing things when you don’t want to.

If Lamine has much less love for the sport but is reported to never skip training and do his best when he is present, that is professionalism.

Also, who knows what Messi was doing with women at that age? Just because social media wasn’t a thing doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

Lamine seems to care for his body better than Messi did. Messi made that switch during 2014/2015 season.

I've read Ibrahimovic's book and he came into Laporta's office and straight up said "I want to play for Real" and he said, anywhere but there hahaha.

Dont know about the thing you guys are talking about, but I know Yamal will never be close to Messi as a player.
Maybe as professional, remains to be seen.

Will be one of the best for decent amount of time though. Pretty good player.

Yamal so far in Laliga: Most goal involvements (4), most successful dribbles (18), most touches in opponent's box (34), most shots (20), most shots on target (7).

Yeah, he is elvoving into a goalscorer.

Lamine right now (let's say 4-6 months) issue is the introduction to women. Let's see how he handles it and when he gets used to the poon being thrown at him.

Once that happens he will do a Dembele, marry a good Muslim girl or 4, and get bang on the football.

First World Cup. His focus will be S-tier this season. Don't worry lads, even if the darkness has a set a bit over his eyes of late ( @Gnidrologist will be only other one to catch this ) , but his Nana will bring him back to the light.
