I am glad this forum has a different opinion on Yamal. If you go by Twitter (and I know Twitter skews younger) but that crowd seriously lacks historical knowledge, they already anointed Yamal like the 2nd coming of Messi and some even rate him above him simply due to the fact he's doing more than Messi did at the same age without accounting for context and the simple fact that some players can peak early (look at Mbappe for instance). He's a talented guy and definitely way better than most today, but I can't agree he is above the class fromt he previous generation in pure play. You can even argue Hazard at Lille was better.
Aye I rate him very highly but people are acting like he is God and I really don't think he's THAT great. He's more of a Hazard level talent as you imply, not Messi, Maradona, R9, Neymar, Ronaldinho as he is hyped as. He's obviously a lot better than someone like Bellingham, but the hype is beyond fucking ridiculous. I wouldn't be surprised if young kids come through and outshine him.
To be fair it's mostly kids who don't have a clue. But the older heads on here who let their emotions rule their heads and are wanting to suck off a footballer young enough to be their son need to get a grip of themselves.
We have that te amo inbred saying he wouldn't accept a billion euro bid for this kid. Neymar was more talented as you say and he went for about 200m in his prime! That's the sort of dummy that posts on this place.
Hazard at Lille was definitely as good. Also, this kid has a shocking attitude and behaves like a womanising gangster who has already conquered football. He also disrespects opponents despite being barely out of nappies in a football context. No surprise given his dad is a complete scumbag, bad father figure.
Edit: also, this forum doesn't have an alternate opinion on Yamal. Most on here have anointed him the new messiah. It's just malvolio, myself and a few others, who are warning against the excessive hype. And being abused and demeaned for it.
