Yes, I also think that the Bundesliga is the fastest league, but it also has by far the worst defense. Getafe has a more secure defense than Leipzig, for example. Or mallorca better than frankfurt defensivly

This.

Ekitike has come on faster because he was developed in France where the game is more physical and athletic than in Germany.

He needs more time. The pace of the Premier League is far quicker than the Bundesliga and it takes some players longer to adapt. But I do think he has been hyped up a bit too much by the Germans.
Budesliga's pace and rhythm are crazy with many teams playing transition suicideball. It's not about the pace but about the open spaces, as others have pointed out.

I doubt you ever watched a Bundesliga game.

Wirtz struggling in the EPL is not the flex EPL fans think it is. Questions needs to be asked why an EPL club with the highest net spend in Europe is parking the bus like Stoke City, whilst small clubs in Germany have the BALLS to come out and play against Bayern and Dortmund.

The negative mentality and downright COWARDICE of a lot of EPL clubs is unacceptable given the amount of money they are spending. The league being the most ' entertaining ' in the world is the biggest myth going.

As with last season, the only decent team to watch are Liverpool. With the money spent, the EPL should be sweeping up all the European trophies and have the most exciting games to watch, but still they get punted regularly in the UCL and the games between the top teams are almost always negative borefests.

Seen as a huge symbol of success, there are many, like me, that view it as nothing more than a huge symbol of failure.

Yeah, I was wrong to say the pace of the game, but you're given far more time on the ball in German generally. It might only be a second or two less in the PL but it makes a big difference and is something players have to adapt to.

Also, as I live in Germany I attended a handful of games last season. How many did you go to?

Oh yeah, I 100% agree - most of the EPL games are fucking unwatchable, borefests deluxe. I sometimes tune in and watch a game, like the Pool-Arsenal game the other week - I couldn't watch for more than 30 minutes...

EPL games across the board are far more entertaining than La Liga.

Liverpool v Arsenal was tight due to way Arsenal played but Liverpools first two games were absolute crackers v Bourenmouth and Newcastle.

City games have been enjoyable lost last game from 1-0 up.

Untied won 3-2 in last min and exciting game.

Everton Wolves 3-2 and some great goals.

Every league has some poorer games when teams are matched but the average games in EPL are good.

Spain could buck it up if they made a consensus effort to clean up the game.

-Speed up throw-ins
-allow quick freekicks to the teams followed as a you know, advantage
-consensus effort to kick out the play acting.

Try and sell the fookin' product basically.

Instead they revel in the playacting making the whole thing absolute tosh to an onlooker.

Big question marks over Lil Uzi Wirtz

has the same problems as Pedri at CAM imo. Too weak on his legs and has that "slow" playing style so he gets caught up and bullied off the ball too often.

Thought Wirtz is a CAM by natural. Problem is like what you said. Lack of strength.

It's just a lul period. The guy has performed great for Germany & Bayer. New team, completely new league. Tis grand. Happens.

That being said, Liverpool did overpay. Think he is around the 90m mark. And Fermin around the 50-60m.

Though I hope he never finds his form and never gets used to the league, so we can go for him in 2 years' time, for much cheaper.
