How is that gaming the system?

Well there's two things.

The first, and most likely to be fair, is that they keep a first team slot open for another potential signing- rumoured to be Konate.

The second point is that they did this with Vini, Rodrygo and Reinier (yeah, who da fook is he), and that meant the 100m got registered as an expense for the Real Madrid entity, but not a direct effect on FFP at that time. It was a company expense but not a LaLiga salary and transfer expense in those years.

We done something similar with Yusuf Demir, and funnily enough, LaLiga decided to change the rules then to stop it not counting against FFP.

So yeah, let's see how the latest LaLiga rules are setup. It seems this is more than likely to free up a first team squad spot. But knowing LaLiga and FloPe, there is some way he managed to manipulate it.

But in the end, spending 60m and then registering as a Castilla player is a bit of a joke. And doesn't give the aura of financial strength that Madrid have tended to try and exhibit.

This is true, they gain a spot from this move. But is that really important? Do they have more than 25 players?

I'm just saying they don't benefit for FFP.

This is the reason. They're still so hurt after last season, that they're still after all these transfers not entirely satisfied with their squad and want to keep a position open if something comes up. Since they only have space for one first team player left, they registered him with the Castilla for now.

We did a good job and forced them to invest a big amount of money. €170m + hand money for Trent which makes their investment over 200m + rising salaries. Now we need to repeat the humiliation (which will be difficult enough, but possible) and they will be in deep shit. They are doomed to win now.

Barcelona president Laporta: “Joan García and Marcus Rashford are both registered for tomorrow”

Legend 👌🏼

What? This is a win? From new stadium last year, big signings affordable, back to 1:1, to 24 hours before first official match finally being able to register.

Pathetic fat glutton smiling all the way through his lies.

Barca deserves better than this.

Come L for the usuals.

Common W for laporta.

Nico was right all along 😂 , Nico would be getting registered today, probably even before Garcia 😂 😂.

Now he'll stay at Athletic, and her mistered.

People still trying to turn construction delays into a L lol

Hansi Flick is bothered by the registration issues. He doesn't understand how the board have not solved them by now.

He also expressed his discomfort in the disorganized Asian pre-season tour, and did not like the training facilities there.

Welcome to Laporta's world where just because some thing was agreed, said, repeated, does not also mean it's true.

Rumour or not, odds are these things don't sit well with the pedantic and conscientious German. A stark opposite of messy, lazy Laporta.

I was just thinking last week. What's his contract like? Is it 100% till 2027 or its something like 2026 + option to extend 1 more year?

Cuz I don't see him continuing till 2027 if its the later.
Wouldn't even blame him, with the shit that goes on in the club and no stability. Its sad though.

Contract? He has a mandate to run the club until the next elections. He can leave whenever he wants.
He will not though as he lives nicely off pensioner socis, on money borrowed from some future board via debt and syphons the money out of the club through his friends.
He is happy as a pig in a mud.
