Do I have to repeat myself for the 10th time, that the club is waiting for the auditor's report about the VIP seats that LaLiga requested to make the necessary calculations and tell the club under wich rule it operates?

You make it sound as if Laporta did not spend 350M since his return, which in comparison to Madrid is 130M+ less. And that difference is due to current transfer window with Madrid spending 168M. Without 2025, spending between Madrid and Barcelona is essentially the same. So, with all do respect mate, what exactly are you talking about?
Well that's obvious

In 2021 Madrid had a MUCH better squad than Barca

If somebody asked me then who will spend more in next 4 years, I would say Barça because Madrid already has a WC squad

And we did not spend more. We spent less than you did. Yet the objective was completed - we now have a squad that's on par with Madrid's

Why? What do they gain with it?
Castilla might be a different entity. FFP implications might be different. FFP rules might be different. I don't know the rules, but its an educated guess.
Seems like a plausibility.

You do not buy a player for 40-50m, have a full fucking interview session, and the coach looking forward to your arrival whole summer, then to play/register for the B team.

That's classic gaming the system. They probably didn't have salary space in their main squad. And this is their financial levers.

I don't know the rules

You could just write that. It counts for FFP the same as it does if he was registered with the first team.

It doesn't matter how much the player costs, you can have him in the second team if you want. I think they even had Vini and Rodrygo in Castilla when they came.

How is that gaming the system?

Well there's two things.

The first, and most likely to be fair, is that they keep a first team slot open for another potential signing- rumoured to be Konate.

The second point is that they did this with Vini, Rodrygo and Reinier (yeah, who da fook is he), and that meant the 100m got registered as an expense for the Real Madrid entity, but not a direct effect on FFP at that time. It was a company expense but not a LaLiga salary and transfer expense in those years.

We done something similar with Yusuf Demir, and funnily enough, LaLiga decided to change the rules then to stop it not counting against FFP.

So yeah, let's see how the latest LaLiga rules are setup. It seems this is more than likely to free up a first team squad spot. But knowing LaLiga and FloPe, there is some way he managed to manipulate it.

But in the end, spending 60m and then registering as a Castilla player is a bit of a joke. And doesn't give the aura of financial strength that Madrid have tended to try and exhibit.
